I have found that a lot of people not only don’t keep a pantry, but they don’t know how to get started on building one.

A working pantry is your best tool for running an efficient kitchen and keeping you fed. It will also help you keep on track with household budgeting too. Having that store of food in your home will mean that you can prepare better meals for your family, stop you from buying convenience foods as it becomes easier to produce food in the home that much easier and also the food you produce will be more nutritious and delicious than anything you can buy in a packet.

I’m not saying that you will never buy convenience food again, That might be the case, but life can throw a curve ball and convenience food is there for exactly that purpose, to be convenient. The difference a pantry will make is that it becomes far more convenient to produce your own meals and renders the convenience food unnecessary.

The biggest problem I have found that people have is that they just don’t know where to start. Unless you have been brought up being taught that way of living, not many people know how to build a pantry or what they should keep in it or even how to store the food to keep it at its best.

With that said, I have put together a course to get you started on the basics of putting together your own pantry from scratch. Just click the link below and you will be taken to my online school where you can access the class.

This course will teach you the different food types that can be stored in your pantry, how they should be stored and even the best place to build your pantry whether that be a cupboard in your kitchen or a fully kitted out pantry room.

There is a huge scope of what can be a pantry and just keeping in the basics will mean that you can grab food and create a meal from there with no problem or without having to pop to the shop.

Once you have your pantry up and running I will be going into recipes that you can create from pantry basics, but to begin with lets just get organised for the new year and start fresh.

I really hope you find my course useful. I have tried to give you as much information as possible to get you started and a downloadable printable checklist for each area of the pantry. Please let me know if you feel it is missing anything that you would find useful and I will do my best to answer all of your questions to my best ability.
